Bruce Trail Day 1: Departing From the Northern Terminus

Starting shortly after 8:00am with a belly full of stoked oats Ryan left from Tobermory heading south along the bruce trail. This section of the escarpment is truly unique to the area with much of the trail climbing and descending along the aggressive georgian bay shoreline. Ry kept a solid pace all day crushing this undulating terrain beneath him. Fellow trail goers felt bad for the stacked dolomite rock beneath him.

Making quick progress he soon arrived in Cabot Head nature reserve looking cool can calm as a supple leopard. Fuelling up with mama Atkins behind the van stove ry took off with his crew mate for the remaining portion of the trail and meeting up with a local friend Jack to finish off the day in Lions Head. Great end to day 1. 84km down!
